He is more than just caulk and talk. For years
Doug Rye has been known as the "King of Caulk and Talk, "
offering advice on everything from heat pumps to insulation. The
Tri-State Touchstone Energy Cooperatives and Doug Rye have joined
together to bring you energy saving information each week with the
"Home Remedies" show on WBOB 1160 AM.
As the host of this hour-long radio broadcast,
Doug is able to concentrate on specific areas in the home. Although
he has a lot to say about caulk, his vast knowledge in the area
of construction and home building makes him an expert in the field
of energy efficient homes. Doug's experience is a combination of
thirty years as an architect and his involvement in over 400 energy
efficient rental complexes that house over 15,000 people.
"Home Remedies" started airing on WBOB
1160 AM mid-July. The show originates in Arkansas, but is aired
locally on WBOB 1160 AM, live at 10:00am (est) every Saturday morning.
Whitewater Valley REMC members and other listeners across eastern
Indiana are encouraged to call the toll-free number and ask their
own energy-related questions.
