Indiana's Electric Cooperative's Community Day

Friday, October 14

Indiana cooperatives across the state have set aside this day to celebrate National Cooperative Month and to give back to the communities we serve. Whitewater Valley REMC has two projects planned this year.  WWVREMC employees and directors will be at the Union County 4-H Fairgrounds upgrading the electric in the outbuildings.  We will work with 4-H volunteers to replace the wiring in the show ring and cattle barn.

We will also be at Whitewater Memorial State Park helping park employees with projects.  Although students are back in school, fall is a busy season and the perfect time to visit an Indiana state park. This will be our third year in the park performing a variety of work such as raking and trash clean up along the hiking trails, around the beach area, and in the camp grounds.

Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to participate.  Please RSVP by calling Whitewater Valley REMC at 765-458-5171 or 800-529-5557 if you would like to be a part of Indiana’s Electric Cooperative’s Community Day.
