Whitewater Valley REMC offers several youth programs each year for local students. Our fun and exciting programs are offered at no cost to local students and are tailored to all ages, with options for K-12.
WWVREMC Scholarships
AGES: Entering college or trade school
2022 Applications Closed
Qualified applicants will be entered into a drawing to be held as part of the annual meeting. Scholarship funds will be dispersed to the school for those drawn upon proof of enrollment to the college or trade school they have chosen.
Calendar Art Contest
AGES: Students in grades K-12
Calendar Art Contest 2023 Closed
Students can enter this contest for a chance to illustrate an award-winning calendar. Thirteen first-place winners and nine honorable mention winners will have their artwork featured in the calendar – and will receive cash prizes.
Youth Tour

Indiana Youth Tour provides young Hoosiers the opportunity to visit the nation's capital, experience American history, learn more about government, and gain a better understanding about their electric cooperative. The 2022 Indiana Youth Tour is June 16-23.

Youth Power & Hope Awards
AGES: Students fifth through eight grades
Current Applications Closed
The Youth Power and Hope Awards program honors students in fifth through eighth grades who are leaders in their communities.
Up to five qualified candidates will each receive $500, attend a special program in their honor in December and be featured in an upcoming issue of Indiana Connection.
