The Power of Membership

Whitewater Valley REMC

Once again Whitewater Valley REMC employees and members will help park employees and volunteers clean up Whitewater Memorial State Park.  We will start at 9 a.m. and end by 2 p.m.  All volunteers will receive a free lunch.

Officials from three electric cooperatives and the city of New Castle plan to “flip the switch” on a solar farm at a dedication event on Sept. 16, turning sunshine into electricity for homes and businesses throughout east central Indiana.

The 1 MW facility is part of a 10 MW utility-scale solar initiative by Hoosier Energy, power supplier for 18 electric distribution cooperatives including Henry County REMC, RushShelby Energy and Whitewater Valley REMC to support bringing renewable energy options to electric cooperative communities.

Welcome to the cooperative's website. We hope you find the site easy to navigate with many useful features.
