Inaugural Indiana's Electric Cooperative's Community Day a Success

Twenty-six volunteers were on the trails and lake in Whitewater Memorial State Park Friday, October 10th removing litter and cutting back trees and brush. The workers were participating in a community project hosted by Whitewater Valley REMC. Indiana cooperative's across the state set aside the day to celebrate National Cooperative Month and to give back to the communities they serve. WWVREMC would like to thank all volunteers for their time and effort in the park. We spent several hours cleaning and clearing the trails and lake area of litter so visitors can enjoy the park and take in the beautiful fall landscape.
