Concern for Community Program

WWVREMC is pleased to introduce a new opportunity for local organizations through our Concern for Community Program.

As your local electric cooperative, we adhere to seven cooperative principles, including Concern for Community. We enjoy serving our local areas both through our work and volunteer efforts.

This program allows non-profit organizations in our service area — including Union, Wayne, Fayette, Franklin, Dearborn, and Randolph counties — to request volunteer help from the WWVREMC team. Approximately 5-10 employees will volunteer labor, not supplies or equipment, for specific projects such as but not limited to painting, landscaping, cleaning, organizing, or packing lunches.

Applications will be accepted year-round, with one recipient selected each quarter based on community impact and employee availability. All applications must be complete; incomplete forms will not be considered. For questions about the Concern for Community Program, please contact our office at 800-529-5557.
